2005 Summer Wrap Up

Fall has officially began, and ReConstruct has closed the door on yet another very successful summer. Here are a few of the many highlights from the summer of 2005:

June 5 - ReConstruct begins its summer in Paris, Tenn. with the first ever summer project week outside of Nashville. During the two weeks in Paris, 150 participants repaired 12 houses, a very successful begining to a long-standing relationship with the city.

June 24 - ReConstruct completed work on its 500th home in Nashville. We were very honored to have Nashville's mayor join us for this momentous occasion as we celebrated the transformation of Lisa Phelps's house.

July 17 - 170 participants descended on Nashville for the largest week in ReConstruct history.

Throughout the summer of 2005, over 1,500 participants volunteered over 43,000 hours to repair homes for 87 thankful and deserving families!

Thanks to all who had a part!
